Equal parts reasoned decision (my work schedule has changed! I have time!) and panic about my upcoming doctor's appointment to follow up on my blood pressure send me running (walking) for the hills. Had a recurrence of the weird itch reaction Tuesday (or was it Wednesday?) night. Was a big one too. The bump behind my left ear swelled up (so did the one behind my right, a little), my palms turned bright red (from rubbing them?), and the itch was everywhere. Am sending in an invincible remote-controlled puppet robot to live my life while I lie around feeling pathetic. Stupid cold. Stupid fatigue.

Had a lovely morning. Woke at about 5:30, was out in the front yard with the Sparkle by 6:30 doing a little weeding and a little wandering. Had breakfast and didn't feel awful. Baby boy had a nice morning nap. We went to the farmers' market at our usual late hour and brought home armloads of glorious green vegetables.

Suspect, from the throbbing of my unconsciously clenched jaw, that the noise from the street work out in front of the store is not lowering my blood pressure.
